ABU DHABI - The 16th Al Dhafra Festival is set to take place from October 28, 2022 to January 31, 2023, as part of the emirate’s camel beauty contest season.
Held under the patronage of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and organised by Cultural Programmes and Heritage Festivals Committee - Abu Dhabi, the festival aims to preserve and develop heritage activities, enable camel owners to continue the tradition of breeding and caring for camels and highlight the role of the camel in the UAE’s culture.
