Biden tells Sisi US opposes forced relocation of Palestinians

WASHINGTON - US President Joe Biden told Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi in a phone call on Wednesday the US would not permit the forced relocation of Palestinians from Gaza or the West Bank, or the besiegement of Gaza, or the redrawing of Gaza's borders, the White House said.
Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud reaffirmed their commitment to preventing further spread of the Israel-Palestinian conflict when they spoke on Wednesday, the State Department said.
Blinken also welcomed Saudi Arabia’s efforts to secure a durable peace agreement in Yemen, the State Department said.
