LONDON - Moroccan artist Oumayma Badoud is taking part in a collective art exhibition in the Austrian city of Hohenems.

Self-taught artist Badoud, who hails from the Moroccan city of Fes, is the first international artist to take part in the three-month exhibition which started June 4, along with Puerto Rican artist Thomas Gonzalez, outside Germany, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Austria.

“I’m thrilled to be the first Moroccan artist to be part of such a beautiful exhibition with my paintings,” Badoud told Middle East Online.

“I’m participating with five abstract paintings that I have been working on for four months,” said Badoud.
