Morocco cancels COVID-19 PCR tests for inbound travellers

The Moroccan government says it has cancelled COVID-19 PCR test requirements for all incoming travellers.

RABAT - The Moroccan government said on Tuesday it has cancelled COVID-19 PCR test requirements for all incoming travellers.

Morocco has lifted all measures to contain the virus but kept an emergency decree in place allowing for reinstating restrictive measures in case of a surge in cases.

The decision comes as Morocco prepares to welcome its citizens residing abroad as part of the “Marhaba” campaign.

Morocco had already cancelled COVID-19 PCR test requirements for incoming maritime travellers.
