Morocco King overhauls government

King Mohammed VI appoints 14 new ministers, deputy ministers and Secretaries of State.

RABAT – Morocco’s King Mohammed VI overhauled on Wednesday the government to improve the efficiency of Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch’s cabinet.

The monarch appointed 14 new ministers, deputy ministers and Secretaries of State.

– Mohamed Saad Berrada, Minister of National Education, Preschool and Sports,

– Amine Tahraoui, Minister of Health and Social Protection,

– Ahmed Bouari, Minister of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests,

– Azeddine Midaoui, Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation,

– Abdessamad Kayouh, Minister of Transport and Logistics,

– Naima Ben Yahia, Minister of Solidarity, Social Integration and Family,

– Karim Zidane, Minister Delegate for Investment, Convergence and Evaluation of Public Policies

– Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni, Minister Delegate to the Head of Government for Digital Transition and Administrative Reform,

– Zakia Driouich, Secretary of State to the Minister of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests, in charge of Maritime Fisheries,

– Omar Hejira, Secretary of State to the Minister of Industry and Trade, in charge of Foreign Trade,

– Adib Benbrahim, Secretary of State to the Minister of National Land Use Planning, Urban Planning, Housing and Urban Policy, in charge of Housing,
