CAIRO - Morocco will resume domestic flights starting June 25, the state news agency said on Sunday, citing the ministry of tourism, air transport, handicrafts and social economy.
The government said it would further loosen lockdown measures for the services sector and domestic transport starting June 24, adding domestic travel would resume including flights and railways.
The gradual lifting of the lockdown comes as a sigh of relief for Moroccans who have been confined to their homes for more than three months.
The authorities will allow cafes and restaurants to serve on site with 50% of their capacity in zone 1.
Commercial activity will also resume with shopping centres and galleries will reopen according to predefined conditions.
Sports and fitness clubs and public baths, with a maximum of 50% of their capacity.
