Iraq says coalition forces committed crime in targeting sites

Iraqi military spokesman calls international coalition forces’ attacks on security sites a heinous crime and serious violation of the coalition's mission and mandate.

DUBAI - International coalition forces in Iraq committed a "heinous crime" by targeting security sites, Iraqi military spokesman Yahya Rasool said in a statement on Wednesday.

Rasool called the attacks a serious violation of the coalition's mission and mandate. The United States on Tuesday carried out a strike in Iraq in what US officials described as self defence.
