BEIRUT - Lebanon is facing one of the most dangerous stages in its history, caretaker prime minister Najib Mikati said on Tuesday during a meeting with UN organisations and ambassadors of donor countries.
Mikati, and UN Humanitarian Coordinator for Lebanon Imran Riza launched on Tuesday a $426 million appeal to help civilians affected by the escalating conflict, the UN said in a statement.
