WASHINGTON - The United States welcomes recent comments made by the Syrian rebel leader about securing potential chemical weapons sites, but would wait to see what actions are taken, the Pentagon said on Wednesday.
"We welcome this type of rhetoric but... actions have to meet words as well," Pentagon spokesperson Sabrina Singh told reporters.
