Turkey, Saudi Arabia sign transport, logistics cooperation MoUs

Turkish Transport Minister says strengthening transport links is critical to ensuring uninterrupted trade and logistics flows amid regional challenges. 

ANKARA - Turkey and Saudi Arabia have signed two memorandums of understanding to boost cooperation in the railway and logistics sectors, Turkey's transport ministry said on Tuesday.

Logistics agreement aims to support the construction and management of logistics centres and expand joint services and cooperation.

Railway agreement seeks to develop cooperation across the sector, including technology, infrastructure, digitalisation and safety.

Turkish Transport Minister Abdulkadir Uraloglu said strengthening transport links is critical to ensuring uninterrupted trade and logistics flows amid regional challenges.
