EU member states will no longer be able to issue multiple-entry visas to Somali nationals
BRUSSELS - The EU has decided to temporarily restrict visa issuance for Somali nationals, citing insufficient cooperation from Mogadishu on readmission of citizens staying irregularly in the bloc, the Council of the European Union said on Thursday.
Under the decision, EU member states will no longer be able to issue multiple-entry visas to Somali nationals or waive visa fees for holders of diplomatic and service passports.
