Qatar, UAE discuss bilateral cooperation

Qatari emir holds a meeting with the Emirati delegation led by National Security Adviser in the latest sign of warming ties between the two neighbouring Gulf Arab countries.

DOHA – Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received Thursday a delegation headed by the UAE’s National Security Adviser Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan in the latest sign of warming ties between the two neighbouring Gulf Arab countries.

The meeting touched upon bilateral relations and ways to further develop cooperation between the two countries, especially in the economic and trade fields and vital investment projects that serve the process of construction, development and progress as well as achieving the common interests of the two countries.

During the meeting, Sheikh Tahnoun conveyed to the Qatari Emir the greetings of Emirati leaders , including President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and their wishes for further progress and prosperity for Qatar and its people.

They also discussed several issues of common interest.
