Rabat hosts 3rd edition of National Industry Day

Morocco’s Minister of Industry and Commerce says the event is the celebration of Moroccan industry, that of a recognized, competitive, and sustainable know-how.

RABAT - The third edition of the National Industry Day kickstarted in Rabat Monday, bringing together over a thousand economic, institutional, and industrial players from across Morocco.

Minister of Industry and Commerce Ryad Mezzour opened the event, which was held under the theme "Made in Morocco, a Guarantee of Quality."

"This is the celebration of Moroccan industry, that of a recognized, competitive, and sustainable know-how," said Mezzour.

"Made in Morocco" has become an engine of attractiveness and competitiveness thanks to a strong Moroccan industry in various key sectors, including aeronautics, automotive, textiles, and green technologies.

Several local companies showcased their flagship products while panels were held to discuss the strategic challenges of the industrial innovation and the training of human resources for better productivity and competitiveness.

A "Made in Morocco" exhibition showcased a selection of products and innovations embodying the move upmarket of the Moroccan productive fabric.

The "Made in Morocco" label is more than just a country of origin tag; it's an effort to build a national brand reputation based on quality, authenticity, and specific characteristics associated with Moroccan heritage, craftsmanship and industry.
