Tunisian police's crackdown on opposition and critics of Saied continues
TUNIS - Tunisian police arrested on Thursday Habib Louz and Sadok Chourou, the two senior officials in Ennahda, Tunisia's main opposition party, a party official, Ridha Chaibi, said.
Since last month, police launched a massive wave of arrests, including prominent critics of President Kais Saied, two judges, an influential businessman and the owner of local radio, on suspicion of plotting against state security.
