UAE allocates $3 million to rebuild West Bank village

Emirati President has ordered provision of $3 million to support rebuilding efforts in the West Bank village of Huwara few days after dozens of buildings were set ablaze by Israeli settlers.

DUBAI - United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed al-Nahyan has ordered provision of $3 million to support rebuilding efforts in the West Bank village of Hawara, the state news agency said on Thursday.

Earlier this month, Israeli settlers torched dozens of buildings and cars in Hawara, near Nablus in reaction to the killing of two Israelis.
