CASABLANCA - The Casablanca Court of Appeal decided on Thursday to once again postpone the examination of an international drug trafficking case involving former president of Wydad Casablanca, Saïd Naciri, and former president of the Oriental region, Abdennabi Bioui.

The hearing has been adjourned until next week to allow the public prosecutor's office to continue its closing arguments.

A source close to the case confirmed that the decision to postpone was made to allow the representative of the public prosecutor's office to finish his closing arguments, which he began during Thursday's session.

According to the same source, the hearing was also marked by a statement from the prosecutor, who stated that Naciri, Bioui, and the individual nicknamed the "Escobar of the Sahara" were very closely linked.

The representative of the public prosecutor's office also revealed that the telephone communications between Naciri and the "Escobar of the Sahara" had reached a total of 69 hours, highlighting the sustained nature of their exchanges.
