Morocco’s King pardons journalists, activists
TETOUAN – Morocco’s King Mohammed VI pardoned 2,476 people convicted by the various courts of the North African Kingdom, including several journalists and activists, who committed crimes and were punished by the penal code, on the occasion of his 25th anniversary of ascending the throne.
The three journalists are Toufiq Bouachrine, Omar Radi and Souleimane Raissouni and activists Reda Taoujni and Youssef El Hirech.
Imad Stitou, Afaf Bernani, Hicham Mansouri and Abdessamad Ait Aicha were also among those pardoned.
