Suspected terrorist cell dismantled in Morocco

Security forces dismantle terrorist cell with links to Islamic State group in northern city of Tetouan, arrest three suspects.

RABAT – Morocco’s security forces dismantled Friday a suspected terrorist cell with links to the Islamic State group in the northern city of Tetouan.

According to preliminary reports, the FBI-like Central Bureau of Judicial Investigations (BCIJ) arrested three suspects during the raid in the early hours of Friday.

The anti-terror operation came almost two weeks after the BCIJ broke up a terrorist cell in the cities of Inezgane and Ait Melloul.
